Our fabrics are engineered with UV-reflective molecules infused directly into the fibers, combined with advanced weaving techniques. This dual-action design reflects UV rays and reduces thermal conductivity, ensuring permanent UV Cut protection that never fades.

UV100 uses high-performance UV-resistant fibers certified through rigorous UPF testing. Because the protection is built into the yarn itself (not a surface coating), it provides permanent sun protection that remains unaffected by wash cycles.

Use mild detergent. Avoid bleach or detergents with optical brighteners, as these can damage the UV-resistant fibers. We also advise against fabric softeners, as they can reduce the moisture-wicking performance.

Machine Wash: Use the “Delicate” or “Low Spin” cycle to prevent stretching or damage to the garment’s shape.

Hand Wash: Use cold water (below 25°C / 77°F) and do not soak for more than 5 minutes. Minor color bleeding during soaking is normal.

Wash light and dark colors separately to prevent staining.

Do not tumble dry. Air dry only.

If ironing is needed, use a cloth barrier and set the temperature below 120°C (248°F).

Sun protection cannot be determined by touch or sight. All UPF ratings shown on UV100 are tested using professional instruments by ARPANSA (Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency). We provide scientific validation for our UV Cut effectiveness to give you total peace of mind.

UPF 50+ is the maximum category for excellent protection. Any test value exceeding 55 is labeled as UPF 50+. Ratings between 50 and 55 are labeled as UPF 50. Even at UPF 50, the fabric blocks over 98% of UV rays.

Due to dye characteristics, avoid prolonged soaking. Any slight color release (color bleeding) is normal and does not affect the UV protection of the garment. We recommend washing dark and light colors separately for the first time to prevent staining.

UV100’s protection is engineered at the fiber core and through its unique structural weave, rather than relying on dyes or surface coatings. Therefore, even if the garment fades from long-term use or sun exposure, the UV Cut effectiveness remains stable and will not diminish.

As shown in the experiment, we tested a garment that has been worn by a customer for several years. Despite visible fading, professional testing with a UV Transmittance Analyzer confirmed that the faded areas still meet ARPANSA standards, maintaining the highest UPF 50+ rating.

We recommend hand washing or using a laundry bag with a “Delicate” cycle. Avoiding friction with rough surfaces will effectively prevent pilling and maintain the product features.
